In this episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello is joined by Chloe Cappelletto, business owner of Lagree By The Lake.
Cappelletto shares her journey and enthusiasm for her new business Lagree By The Lake, a high-intensity, low impact, full body workout which helps tighten and tone muscles.
After graduating university, she began working as a news reporter.
“I loved entertainment," says Cappelletto, who was also a competitive dancer when she was younger.
She eventually changed her career path and found a love for fashion. In 2014 she started YYC Belle, which showcases fashion, lifestyle, dining and travel content tips and blogs.
Whilst living in Calgary, she attended a Lagree workout class and quickly became obsessed with it. Upon moving to Kelowna, she was surprised that there were no Lagree studios, and after trying other forms of workout, she was determined to get back into Lagree and bring it to Kelowna.
Her parents bought her a Lagree machine for Christmas and she started teaching her own private classes, which led to the launch of Lagree By The Lake.
Cappelletto describes it as “a new style of workout for Kelowna.”
Lagree is customizable to match an individual's goals and experience level.
She hopes to expand her business and offer pop up classes and host events during the summer.
