Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 43 new COVID-19 cases in BC on Tuesday, bringing the provincial total to 1,013.
Another five deaths due to the virus were also announced, bringing BC's death toll to 24.
The province is now investigating its first large community outbreak, which involves temporary foreign workers at Bylands Nursery in West Kelowna.
Multiple cases of COVID-19 were confirmed among the group of workers, who live in on-site housing and were ordered to quarantine on the property on March 27.
According to Interior Health, none of the workers were in roles that interact with customers and the business has been closed to the public.

Currently, 128 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, with 61 of them being in critical care.
A total of 507 people have fully recovered from the virus in BC.
Across Canada, there are 7,448, cases of COVID-19 and 90 deaths, with 946 people having recovered.
