BC will begin booking vaccination appointments for people born 1981 or earlier next week.
“With the vaccines that we have been receiving this week, we're now in a place where we can move very quickly down these age groups,” Dr. Henry said Thursday.
Everyone who has already registered will be receiving an email or text notification in the coming week inviting them to book an appointment.
People must be registered through BC’s Get Vaccinated system to get an email or text notification prompting them to book an appointment when it is their turn.

Over 46 years old (1975 or earlier) - on Fri, May 7 after 7pm
Over 43 years old (1978 or earlier) - on Sun, May 9 after 7pm
Over 40 years old (1981 or earlier) - on Tues, May 11 after 7pm
Anyone who is not registered can in one of three ways:
A personal health number, postal code, first and last name, date of birth and email address are needed to register.
BC is expected to surpass the two million people vaccinated mark on Thursday.
