B.C. Woman Goes from Missing to Most Wanted

One Lumby woman went from victim to alleged criminal this week according to RCMP and Crime Stoppers.

On January 20th, Rebecka Hill was reported missing to RCMP in Lumby.

Hill, 24, hadn’t contacted her family in 20 days and police said they were “very concerned” for her health and well-being.

At that point, police said they had searched for her but she could not be found.

On Tuesday, January 26th, Hill’s picture was circulated again, this time when she was added to the Crime Stoppers Most Wanted list.

According to her wanted poster, Hill has been charged with seven counts of possession, five counts of stolen property, two counts of trafficking and breach of probation.

KelownaNow has made several calls to the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP detachment, but none have been returned.

Hill is described as Caucasian, approximately five feet five inches tall and 110 pounds.

In case anyone has seen Hill, you are asked to call the nearest RCMP detachment or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
