Evacuation alert rescinded for 60 properties in Faulder

An evacuation alert has been rescinded for close to 60 properties in Electoral Area F in the community of Faulder.

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) advises that the threat of flooding has been reduced and the potential danger to life, health and property has diminished..

<who>Photo Credit: NowMedia </who>The RDOS rescinded an evacuation alert for 60 properties in Faulder on Wednesday morning.The evacuation alert that was issued on May 5, has been rescinded.

The evacuation alert has been lifted for numerous residents along Agur Court, Fish Lake Road, Kettle Place, Princeton-Summerland Road and Relkey Road.

The vast majority of the properties were located on Fish Lake Road.

The State of Local Emergency remains in place. If conditions deteriorate and there is a potential danger to life, health or safety, an evacuation order may be re-issued.
