Multiple sources have reported that Burt Reynolds is dead.
TMZ, Us Weekly and other outlets have all reported that the 82-year-old went into cardiac arrest in Florida.
Reynolds passed away in hospital with his family by his side and a statement from the family is coming soon, according to Matthew Belloni of the Hollywood Reporter, who confirmed the news through the actor’s manager.
Rocking one of the best moustaches around, Reynolds starred in countless movies and television shows during a 60-year career.
He was best known for a variety of roles, including classics like “The Longest Yard,” “Smokey and the Bandit,” “Deliverance” and “Boogie Nights.”
The latter earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, which ended up going to Cuba Gooding Jr. for his role in “Jerry Maguire.”
