Cirque du Soleil’s is bringing their frigid courtyard to the Northern Capital for five days of frozen entertainment.
Crystal by Cirque du Soleil is an enchanting blend of skate and circus that follows the storyline of a woman who shatters her reality to view the possibilities of the world.
Set to perform at the CN Centre from April 25 to 29, the newest addition to the Cirque lineup has many traditional elements that we’ve come to expect from the entertainment group.
But in addition to the trapeze swings, juggling and death-defying stunts, there’s one thing that makes Crystal unlike any other Cirque show. It will take place atop the frozen parameters of our local skating rink.
The fusion of amazing acrobats and world-class skaters will flip, fly and glide their way across the stage while ariel acts simultaneous stream from the ceiling.
The show comes with both worldwide and national influence with our very own four-time Canadian figure skating champion, Kurt Browning, credited as the Skating Performances Senior Designer.
This visually spectacular show will leave you spinning even after you’ve left the arena.
All tickets can be purchased online, and will range in price:
Adults: $61.80 - $164.55
Children: $51.80 - $134.55
