If you love vampires, comedy and all things Halloween Kelowna’s New Vintage Theatre has a brand new production you’ll want to catch.
From today until Sunday the theatre company will perform a revamp of La Navet Bete’s play, Dracula-The Bloody Truth.
Best described as “Monty Python meets Macabre” this spooktacular spectacle is perfect for adults and families with children ages 10 and up.
Within the play you will follow along Abraham Van Helsing’s journey to bring the true story of Dracula to life and meet several wacky characters while you traverse through the Transylvanian mountains.
According to director Bonnie Gratz, this showcase will not be one to miss.
It features talented Kelowna-based actors Elana Bizovie, Graham Daley, Wells Dearborn, Kirsti Hack, James Long, Kyla Ricard, Tony Yu and Graham Vink on piano.
“The cast in this play is incredible, a team of actors, acrobats, magicians, comedians, singers and dancers-and all of these skills are required to recreate this incredible play, people have to check this out!”, said Gratz.
Each show begins at 7 pm in the Mary Irwin Theatre at the Rotary Centre for the Arts and afterward all of the ghouls over 19-years-old are invited to a “Vampire Dance Party” in Studio 100.
The party is free to attend for ticket holders and will feature, treats, games, bloody marys and more!
