With sports cancelled, tours put on hold and people spending most of their times self-isolating in their homes, there hasn’t really been a “live event” to look forward to lately.
That changed on Sunday thanks to the iHeart Living Room Concert, which was hosted by Sir Elton John.
This wasn’t your typical event, however, as it was hosted by the 73-year-old from his own home.
If you missed it or want to rewatch, the full @iHeartRadio ❤️ Living Room Concert For America show hosted by Elton is online now. #iHeartConcertonFox

One by one, stars like Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Sam Smith, Mariah Carey and plenty others performed from their homes as well.
The Backstreet Boys were all in their own homes and the five videos were stitched together into a music video of sorts.
Well done, Backstreet Boys. 👏👏♥️#iHeartConcertonFox pic.twitter.com/PDzKiFawXx

Sam Smith ditched the thought of an instrument and performed a beautiful a capella version of “How Do You Sleep?”
Mariah Carey took to her own studio in her New York home and showed that she still has the vocal chops while belting out her 1995 hit single “Always Be My Baby.”

Finneas played guitar for Billie Eilish while she sang her hit song “Bag Guy,” while Shawn Mendes did the same for Camila Cabello as she performed “My Oh My.”
Dave Grohl and Billie Joe Armstrong both performed acoustic versions of a pair of their bands’ favourite songs, while Tim McGraw looked real comfortable singing “Something Like That” on his diving board.

It was a great hour-long special full of incredible performances and heartfelt messages of support.
The music was fantastic, but the result was even better, as the event raised more than $1-million food banks and first responders amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The event will stream live on iHeart Radio’s YouTube page for two more days if you missed it on Sunday or would like to relive some of the magic.
It’s a live video, which means it will likely start in the middle of the broadcast when you click the link, but if you want to start at the beginning of the special, just scroll back to right before Alicia Keys’ performance.
