Bloom Tulip Festival set to blossom again in the North Okanagan this May

Bloom Flower Festivals has announced the return of the Bloom Tulip Festival for the second year with an even larger and more colourful springtime event set to blossom in Armstrong from May 4 to 28.

Organizers are anticipating double the number of rainbow-coloured tulips to bloom this year, with over 500,000 bulbs planted in a picturesque four-acre field.

“After hosting thousands of people to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival over four years, we’re proud to bring this event to the community of Spallumcheen and Armstrong,” said Alexis Szarek, the founder of Bloom Flower Festivals.

“The response last year was amazing and the feedback has been that our festival is a picture-perfect way to welcome the arrival of spring and to celebrate the wonder of this pretty season in the North Okanagan.”

This year’s event will be a vibrant display that will inspire awe and wonder for all who attend.

“The tulip festival is the perfect way to celebrate spring,” Szarek told NowMedia. “After being cooped up inside all winter, the tulips' blooming is the perfect reason to get outside and spend time with family and friends.”

“Between the peaceful backdrop, the rainbow of colorful flowers, and the fun photo props, a good time is sure to be had by all.”

Visitors will be able to stroll through the beautiful fields of tulips, take photos, pick flowers, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this magical spring festival.

The Bloom Tulip Festival is open Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 am to 6:30 pm, Sundays and Mondays from 10 am to 5:30 pm, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
