The first of several Craft Culture holiday markets will be held in Kelowna today.
We’re still more than a month away from the main event, the Holiday Market at Prospera Place from Dec. 6-8, but there are three exciting events leading up to it over the next five weeks.
The first will be the Winter Warm-up Market, which is set for 10 am until 4 pm today at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
There will be more than 60 vendors on hand to offer up a great variety of hand-crafted gifts, artisanal goods, holiday treats and plenty more.
You can check out the Craft Culture website to see the full list of vendors participating in the Winter Warm-up Market.
Admission to Saturday’s festivities will be by donation to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.
“This market is more than just a shopping experience,” explains a release from Craft Culture. "It’s a chance to avoid the holiday rush and support local businesses.”
Following up this weekend’s market, here’s a look at the Craft Culture schedule leading up to the holidays:
- Delta Grand Holiday Market - Nov. 10 at the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel
- Holiday Magic Market - Nov. 29-30 at the Rotary Centre for the Arts
- Prospera Place Holiday Market - Dec. 6-8 at Prospera Place
The three-day extravaganza at Prospera Place is always the biggest and most-anticipated event of the holiday market season as it enters its 11th year.
You can already secure your tickets online to be a part of the action in December.
