Kelowna church hosting Christmas Carols in the Park event over next 2 weekends

If you’re looking to get into the festive spirit by singing some Christmas carols, Stuart Park is the place to be over the next two Saturdays.

For the third straight year, Kelowna’s Redeemer Baptist Church will be celebrating the holiday season with their Christmas Carols in the Park event.

They’re inviting the public to join in on the fun as they belt out some classic Christmas songs.

There will be free hot chocolate to help attendees stay warm and some giveaways as well.

We do this to shine the light of Christ at Christmas time, and to show love and care for our community,” the church said in a release. “We hope you can make it!”

The event will take place in Stuart Park near the ice rink from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm on both Saturday, Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 21.
