The next Great Closet Cleanout event is happening this weekend.
Often it’s used clothes and accessories that are the focus of Great Closet Cleanout markets, but this time it’s all about your home.
The first Home Decor Closet Cleanout in four years will take place at the Laurel Packinghouse from 11 am until 3 pm on Sunday.
“There are some great finds at the Home Decor Closet Cleanout,“ said organizer Ting-Mak Brown. “We are so excited to have the Home Decor Closet Cleanout once again after our last event in 2020.”
The market will have tables of gently-used home decor like vases, lamps, art, cushions and plenty more, sold directly from their owners’ closets.
Along with some great deals on items that could spruce up your living space as we get into the colder, cozier months, there will also be door prizes and a special VIP hour.
“We like to remind everyone, those who come early will get the best selection, but those who come later will get the best price,” noted Brown.
If you’d rather get in early for more choice than late to score some last-minute deals, VIP tickets to get in early are $10 and there’s a limited amount.
Regular admission, either in advance or at the door, is $5 (kids get in free) and gets you an entry for a door prize. You can learn more about the event and secure your tickets online.
The Great Closet Cleanout puts on all sorts of similar markets and is committed to supporting local charities with the proceeds.
Habitat for Humanity is the benefactor of the upcoming Home Decor Closet Cleanout and they’ll receive a portion of the proceeds and any leftover items that vendors choose to donate.
