The Recycling Environmental Action Planning Society (REAPS) is hosting their annual Recycle Toy Drive this Saturday! This year, REAPS will be accepting donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the REAPS Compost Demo Garden.
But they won’t only be collecting toys for kids! REAPS will also be accepting donations of pet toys, bedding and cleaning items for the SPCA and PG Humane Society!
The City of PG has officially named Nov. 14 to 21 as Inspiring Women Among Us (IWAU) Week. To participate in this noteworthy week, UNBC will offer a wide variety of free public events open to all genders! The theme this year is Women, Leadership and Power.

This Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can light up the orchard at Northern Lights Estate Winery. The countdown will begin at 5:30 p.m. so make sure you come early and grab a good viewing spot.
Along with the light up, there will be games, crafts, snacks and, of course, mulled wine for the adults. Rumour has it, Santa is going to make an appearance.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas markets are popping up all around, including one at Nukko Lake Community Hall. This Saturday and Sunday you can browse through a number of immaculate Christmas gifts.
