Conservative Party's Cathy McLeod takes the Kamloops-Thompson Cariboo riding

At 7 pm on Monday night, the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo entered their final ballots for the 2019 Federal Election!

The battle came down to Liberal Party Candidate Terry Lake and Conservative incumbent Cathy McLeod.

In the end, McLeod and the Conservatives outlasted the Liberals, winning her the riding for the fourth time. With 129 of the 283 polls reported, Mcleod received 13,501 votes.

  • Animal Protection Party - Kira Cheeseborough: 153
  • Liberal Party - Terry Lake: 9,217
  • Green Party - Iain Currie: 3,959
  • New Democratic Party - Cynthia Egli: 4,613
  • People's Party - Ken Finlayson: 466
  • Communist Party - Peter Kerek: 59
