Kamloops residents will be excited to hear that Tree Coupons are back for another year!
The City of Kamloops will have the tree coupons, valued at $20, available to the public at the inaugural Green Living Expo on April 30.
After the Expo, residents can obtain a tree coupon at City Hall at 7 Victoria Street West or the Public Works Centre at 955 Concordia Way. They will available at these locations Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
There will be 750 coupons available on a first come, first served basis with a limit of one per household.
The coupons can be used towards the purchase of fruit trees or at participating nurseries. The program encourages residents to plant trees on their properties to help enhance the quality of life in the community.
