Can’t get enough of BrewLoops? Fans of the craft beer fest are in luck because organizers have teamed up with downtown Kamloops to bring you more brews and more festivities.
BrewLoops has partnered with the KCBIA again to put on the first-ever Welcome Winter Block Party on December 9th.
The organizations partnered earlier this summer to put on the inaugural Back Alley Block Party in July and BrewLoops held its third annual beer and bike festival in September.
This time around organizers will have Victoria Street blocked off between Third and Fourth Avenues from noon to 6 p.m. for the flannel-and-frost themed block party. It’s an all-ages event, but BrewLoops will have a variety of craft beer options to try out and Monte Creek Ranch will be pouring local wine. The area will be open only to pedestrian traffic.
Some fun activities to check out will include ball hockey with Blazers and Storm alumni hosted by the Kamloops Outdoor Ice Skating Association. Makeshift Kamloops will also be hanging out and hosting a marbled ornament making workshop at 340 Victoria St.
Shops and restaurants throughout the downtown core will have in-store parties and promotions of their own. There will also be outdoor heated seating to keep shoppers warm.
Check it out December 9th and don’t forget to wear your favourite plaid!
