A drug-trafficking investigation that began in November has resulted in charges being laid against a pair of Kamloops men.
According to the RCMP, both men were arrested on Nov. 9 as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
However, they were released from custody with a court date, pending charge approval by the Public Prosecution of Canada.
That was recently received, which means charges have now been laid against 32-year-old Darcy Dean Anderson and 26-year-old Cody Lee Arthur Housego.
Anderson faces two charges of unlawfully possessing fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as two more related to possessing break-in tools and another for possessing an identity document related to another person.
Housego only faces a single charge of possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Anderson’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 11, while Housego will appear in court next on March 29.
