Kamloops Mounties asking for public's help in recovering child's stolen tricycle

The Kamloops RCMP are hoping the community can help return a stolen tricycle to a child on the North Shore.

Officers received the theft report on Sunday, May 28. A release says the theft happened overnight on Saturday on the 1100-block of Laroque Street.

The bike is described as a folding blue tricycle with three regular sized bike tires.

“The tricycle holds great emotional value to its owner, who is a young child, still learning how to ride,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

“We are asking anyone who has information related to the bike’s whereabouts to please contact police.”

If anyone has any information, the can call the detachment at (250)828-3000 and reference file 2023-18747.
