UPDATE: Kamloops RCMP find missing 17-year-old girl

(UPDATE: April 13 @ 1:35 pm): The girl has now been found, police said.

(Original story: April 13 @ 10:04 am): Kamloops RCMP is searching for a 17-year-old girl.

Annie Michel was last seen on April 7 on the North Shore, which she often frequents.

She is also known to visit the Valleyview area, police said.

Michel is described as:

• Indigenous

• 5 ft 4 in

• 125 lbs

• Brown hair and brown eyes

• Last seen wearing a navy jacket, tie-dyed hoodie and green camo leggings

Police are concerned for her well-being and are asking Michel, or anyone with information on Michel’s whereabouts, to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-10963.
