Kamloops SPCA pleas for help after receiving puppy with injured eye

The Kamloops branch of the BC SPCA is looking to the public for help with a puppy with an injured eye.

According to the branch, Chunk's injury to his left eye has resulted in swelling and blindness. Sadly, Chunk's best option to avoid complications is to have his eye removed.

Chunk is described as an outgoing pup who is growing like a weed. His manners are coming along nicely, though he likes to get in the face of his canine foster brother.

"Please help him get to his forever home by donating towards his surgery and recovery today," wrote the BC SPCA. "Personal updates for Chunk will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign."

The branch is looking for donations towards Chunk's surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health checks, and more. So far, $955 of the $1,545 goal has been raised.

Anyone interested in donating can do so through here.
