(UPDATE: Aug 3 @ 11:20 am) - Kamloops RCMP has confirmed the whereabouts of Desiree Louie.
Louie was located safe and sound in the Vernon area.
Police would like to thank the public for their help with this case.
(Original Story: Aug @ 7:15 am) - Kamloops RCMP is on the lookout for a missing woman who could be in a number of Interior communities.
According to police, Desiree Louie was last seen leaving Royal Inland Hospital on Tuesday. She has not been in contact with family or friends since that time.
At this point, officers believe Louie could be in the Chase or Vernon areas.
Louie is described as a 5'1," 120-pound Indigenous woman. She has black hair and brown eyes.
