A man who was wanted for Assault Causing Bodily Harm was arrested just outside of Penticton late Thursday night.
According to Sgt. Nestor Baird, Penticton RCMP located and arrested Robert Rennie on his outstanding warrant. The arrest occurred without incident during a traffic stop in a rural area west of Kaleden.
Rennie's warrant for arrest was issued in relation to a robbery and kidnapping that took place in Kamloops on Feb. 14th. Two men were robbed and one woman was kidnapped in that incident.
Though Rennie was caught, the Kamloops RCMP are still searching for Gordon Braaten and Hugh McIntosh. The two are wanted for Murder and Attempted Murder in relation to a shooting that happened at a residence on Tranquille Road on February 15th.
Warrants for arrest have been issued for both men and if you have information on their whereabouts you are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. If you see the Braaten and McIntosh, do not confront them as they are believed to be armed and dangerous.
