TRU students are doing all that they can to support the families of three international students who were killed in a weekend hit and run on November 3rd.
A trio of fundraisers were set up for Daniel Okocha, Feyisola David Adebowale, and, most recently, Oluwatosin "Kelvin" Adeojo after he died of his injuries on Wednesday. Money raised from the fundraisers are set to go towards funeral costs and getting their immediate families over to Canada.
Thus far, the fundraisers have brought in a combined total of $10,025, well short of the $55,000 goal set by the organizers.
"Such a beautiful soul has left," wrote the fundraiser for Adeojo. "May he be in peace. Please donate and share."
