There were 60 thefts from motor vehicles last week in Kamloops

Kamloops RCMP updated their maps of motor vehicle thefts and the results are quite shocking.

According to police, there were 60 thefts from motor vehicles over the past seven days.

The largest number of thefts on the south side of the Thompson River occurred on the west end of downtown.

At least seven thefts occurred between Halston Avenue and Fortune Drive on the North Shore.

All thefts that took place are highlighted in yellow on the map. Not shown were two thefts in Valleyview, one in Bachelor Heights, three in Westsyde, and one in Noble Creek.
