Using fake money to pay for fast food will never end well, as one Okanagan couple may find out.
Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers is reminding people “if you’re going to pass a fake, make it a good one” because of a recent incident at a Lake Country Dairy Queen.
A man and a woman decided to get some food at Dairy Queen on July 9 and allegedly used a fake $100 bill.
The Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers is describing the man as being in his mid-20s, around six-feet tall with short dark hair and an athletic body.
The woman concealed her identity pretty well, so there isn’t a description of her from Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers is looking for any information on the suspects.
If you know either of these people, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit the website to report any information.
