Following the 55th anniversary of his first album, legendary singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan and his band will be going on tour this summer and guess where they are stopping!
That’s right, THE Bob Dylan will be gracing the Prospera Place stage on July 24th, 2017.
A celebrated singer, songwriter, artist and writer, Bob Dylan’s work has influenced popular music and culture for the past 50 years.
His music touches on some of our world's most important topics from politics to religion and has defied the typical popular music culture from day one, creating anthems for many generations and earning him a Nobel Prize in literature.
His most well-known tracks include, “It Ain’t Me Babe,” “Blowin In The Wind” and the most popular, “Like A Rolling Stone."
Not only has he redefined the writing style of popular music, but the vocal stylings behind it. Making waves and becoming one of the most iconic musicians, Dylan has inspired countless artists with his trail-blazing and world changing music, including the work of the late great Leonard Cohen.
Dylan is currently working on his 38th studio album, Triplicate, a three-disc set that, much like his previous two records, will consist mainly of covers of American classics. The record is set to drop on March 31st, 2017.
Bob Dylan and his band are embarking on their European Tour early next month and will be back in North America by June where they will then make a stop in our very own city come July.
Tickets to see the Rock and Roll symbol in concert go on sale Friday, March 24th. They will be available at SelectYourTickets.com at 10 a.m. and there is no doubt that they will go quickly, so be ready!
