Spring has sprung and after being cooped up in the house all winter (with the exception of a trip to Big White) you’ve probably been itching to get outside and try something new. With this new season comes the re-opening of many iconic Okanagan activities.
We have put together a list of the beloved establishments that will be reopening their doors in the near future.
The Starlight Drive-in
Everyone’s favorite family day and date night hotspot re-opens May 5th, 2017 for the season! Look forward to cozy nights under the stars in the bed of your truck along with the feeling of nostalgia as you enjoy the newest blockbuster hits on the outdoor big screen.
19 Greens Putting Course and Mini Golf
This outdoor real green putting course with incredible Okanagan views opens in early May! With a 19 hole mini golf course and premiere putting green this is a great place to spend a warm sunny spring day.
Kangaroo Creek Farm
For those of you haven’t checked into it, the Kangaroo Creek Farm in Lake country has been open since March 18th! The are open everyday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. including weekends and holidays. Take the family over to learn, pet and play with the animals.
Oyama Zipline
Ready to get your adrenaline pumping after a winter indoors? Lucky for you this zipline adventure park opens up for weekends on April 15th. Grab your crew and get ready for some breathtaking views and action packed fun.
Okanagan Beach Rentals
Get your swimming gear ready, because the Okanagan Beach Rental shops that are scattered across the Kelowna beaches open for their season on May 15th. Soon you’ll be able to spend the day doing any number of water activities and soaking up the sun.
Safari Ridge Adventure Park
Grab a group of friends or the family and head to West Kelowna for a day of unforgettable, high-energy fun. The park has been open since March 18th and can provide hours of endless fun. With outdoor paintball, archery games and laser tag this over the top establishment will transport you to a new world with each activity, all while enjoying the Okanagan weather.
