Police executed 15 search warrants on private residences and an office building, which led to the following seizures:

  • 5.5 kilograms of fentanyl and carfentanil
  • 3 kilograms of methamphetamine
  • 1.5 kilograms of cocaine
  • GHB, ecstasy, and other pharmaceutical drugs
  • Scales and various other drug paraphernalia were seized.
  • Numerous firearms including a Mac-10 sub-machine gun, two semi-automatic 9mm handguns, a .45 caliber handgun, .38 caliber handgun and numerous other semi-automatic rifles and long guns
  • Over $130,000 in Canadian currency

Five people with alleged ties to the Red Scorpion Gang were arrested and are now facing multiple charges related to firearm offences and drug trafficking.

They are:

  • Nikolas Parisee (27)
  • Travis Cumming (28)
  • Benjamin Bridger (28)
  • Jonathan Sierra (30)
  • Jason Keehn (35)

“This investigation was extremely complex and demanding,” said Cpl. Jeff Carroll from the Kelowna RCMP drug section.

“These seizures no doubt disrupted the drug trade in the area and were a blow against a dangerous criminal element in our community.”

No further information will be released, as this matter is now before the court.
