Beach Ave Clothing to close their doors after 20 years and move to online format

After 20 years in downtown Kelowna, Beach Ave Clothing formally known as Blonde, will be moving to an online format.

The bohemian, west coast-style clothing store will officially be closing its doors on Aug. 24 after a long run in the community.

While their extraordinary and inclusive boutique has served the women of the Okanagan for the past two decades, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to snag anymore of their unique pieces.

Beach Ave will still be open to the public but will be sticking to an online shopping experience.

“It is with much gratitude that I say “Ciao Bella” to the downtown Kelowna community. It has been such a privilege to dress you for celebratory events, date nights, adventurous vacations, festivals, birthday and bachelorette parties, and my favorite…no reason at all,” said owner Raegan Hall.

“To my amazing customers, thank you so much for all the shopping, and the hilarious stories! To all the individuals I employed, please accept my deepest thanks for being the true muses, and sharing your time and light to the space. I have loved watching you become friends, roommates, and an ever-lasting support system.”

Community members will have just a few more weeks to check out the nifty shop on Bernard Ave. and can even receive up to 30%-80% off in-store or online until then.

Check out their website here, for up-to-date information on future discounts, product drops, and sneaky future pop-ups.

The store will be keeping its no refunds policy, but will still be able to offer exchanges or store credit for unworn, unused items.

Hall added: “The biggest compliment I ever received was “your store is an institution.” I am going to miss playing dress-up with all ya’ll and I will cherish the memories.”
