RCMP and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) responded to Bear Creek Road where a car went off the road shortly after 4 am.
Police responded to the incident this morning but could not locate the driver.
According to the statement, a female driver failed to negotiate a turn and ended up 75 metres over an embankment.
The driver tried to use Siri on her phone to call 911, but it called her emergency contact who called the police for her.
Ten COSAR members, two dog teams and a helicopter arrived at the incident.
After almost five hours of searching, the female driver was found disorientated, on the opposite side of the road from where her car was located, with minor injuries.
"It was great teamwork from all parties involved that brought this to a successful conclusion," said COSAR search manager Duane Tresnich.
COSAR has now been called 81 times this year – the number of calls in 2020 was 84.
