(UPDATE: April 16 @ 11 a.m.) - There's been some serious demand for the City of Kelowna's NeighbourWoods program.
Only 60 trees are left for purchase, providing a few more Kelowna residents to beautify their yards while contributing to the city's urban canopy.
There are only two varieties of trees left, however, which are the Hot Wing Maple and the Cardinal Royal Mountain Ash.
The final day to purchase one of the remaining trees is on Tuesday and they'll set you back $40 plus GST.
You can view the tree descriptions through the City of Kelowna website, order online and pick up your tree on Saturday, April 21 at the Mission Recreation Park Arboretum between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

If so, look no further than the NeighbourWoods program, offered by the City of Kelowna.
Start on Tuesday, residents are invited to purchase one of six varieties of tree from the city for $40 + GST, which they can then plant in their yard.
The following types of trees are available, which you can find out more about on the NeighbourWoods program website.
“There is a lot of diversity in the tree selection for NeighbourWoods this year,” explained Andrew Hunsberger, urban forestry supervisor. “From large to small, brightly coloured to more neutral, we’ve reserved a variety of trees that work well in Kelowna’s urban forest ecosystem and have great landscaping potential.”
“NeighbourWoods is all about providing residents with an affordable option to beautify their yards while helping to preserve and grow the city’s urban canopy.”
You can order your tree online, by calling 250-469-8800 or in person at the Parkinson Recreation Centre, starting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The trees will then be available to pick up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 21.
