The death of a young Kelowna tattoo artist has been met with an outpouring of grief.
Bethany Saura, 27, died on Nov. 28, The Ink Parlour announced on Monday.
The studio said it was passing on the news with “great sadness.”
“She was an amazing artist, always full of joy and laughter who truly loved each and every one of her clients,” the studio added.
More than a hundred people have already written in response to the announcement, with many complimenting her skill as an artist.
Springfield Funeral Home said that a memorial service will be held for Saura on Saturday.
A description explained that she was a “sweet, quirky, loving, and outgoing personality” that “lit up any room.”
It went on: “She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.”
She is survived by her husband of eight years, her parents, brother and two sisters.
