‘Complete disbelief’: Kelowna woman scores $250K from scratch-and-win ticket

Jerri Ehret was left speechless after scratching her way to a life-changing lottery prize.

The Kelowna resident recently won $250,000 from a Wish List scratch-and-win ticket purchased from the Petro Canada on Lakeshore Road.

“I was in complete disbelief,” Ehret recalled of the moment she discovered her win. “I couldn’t even say how much I had won!”

She was ecstatic to share the news with her older sister, who simply replied with “are you kidding?”

Ehret was not kidding and is now looking forward to buying a new vehicle with the windfall.

She’s also looking forward to surprising her kids with the exciting news and putting some of the prize money aside for their future.
