Over the course of the next year, KelownaNow will feature a local business every day, free of charge to promote local patronage.
Kelowna Toyota is the sponsor making all of this possible and they not only want you out there supporting local businesses, but they want to give you an opportunity to win a two-year lease on a brand new Toyota Corolla!
"Jack’s Pizza & Liquor is about so much more than the words in our name. Jack’s was created with the intention of giving people a fun, vibrant, unpretentious place to not only eat & drink but to socialize and to connect with others. The medium we have chosen for those connections is music."
Designer, Brandi Dea, has created a room that has the feel of a hole-in-the-wall, late-night hot spot in downtown Los Angeles. The kind of spot that only the locals know about.
Our decor pays tribute to many of the artists who have changed our lives with their music. We will be serving our one of a kind, ever-changing, comfort-based menu in collaboration with a vast selection of liquor from around the world and inspired cocktails carefully concocted by our talented team, led by General Manager Brian Atkinson & Executive Chef James Holmes (Salt & Brick).
Brian Atkinson, General Manager at Jack's Pizza & Liquor was born & raised in Kitsilano but moved to the Okanagan Valley in 2017.
Having worked in the food & beverage industry for approximately 18 years, Brian continues to push boundaries in the Kelowna nightlife scene with adventurous cocktail design, and a community-first focus towards business.
When not on the floor or behind the bar at Jack's, you can find Brian on the slopes at Big White, on the course for a casual 18 holes, or enjoying another local restaurant, bar, lounge or tasting room.
Now, a message on the importance of supporting local businesses from Brian!
"Local businesses are the lifeblood of any city's culture & economy. From the products & services they offer, to the staff they employ, to their contributions in the community, local businesses support the growth and development of Kelowna as a whole. When you as a consumer make a choice to support a local business, you're choosing to support the betterment of our community."
