The Earth to Table Vegan Market is on today, but with a holiday flair.
The Laurel Packinghouse is looking and feeling festive and cozy, and is packed with all the vegan goodies you could ever hope for.
You can get some delicious goodies and local products, all while enjoying the sound of carolers. If you get hungry, there’s a concession inside and local food trucks are on site to satiate you, like Renegade Kitchen and Round & Sharp Sustainable Eats.
Allison Staten co-organizer of the event says that this is the fifth market they’ve held, but this is the first holiday market since they started one year ago.
There were 38 vendors on site for people to enjoy, and this morning the market was already packed with people looking for unique gifts and products on their Sunday.
Tessa Lyndon and Shanna Stephenson were there with their new business, Bakery V, selling fair trade, vegan baked goods. They try to source their ingredients as organic and local as they can, and their treats alone are enough to get you into the holiday spirit.
Admission for the market is free, and they are collecting donations for Warren Peace Bunny Sanctuary, who are also there today with their adorable Boys with Buns calendars and raffles tickets on sale for a handmade bunny themed quilt.
Staten says that they usually see between 1,00 and 1,200 people through the door for the market. Today is the last market of 2018, but not to worry, they’ll be back in the New Year!
You can check out this vegan holiday market until 3 p.m. today!
