If you need to fill up your gas tank, you should do so as soon as possible.
Gas prices have been steadily declining in the Okanagan over recent days, with some stations going as low as 130.9 cents a litre.
It appears that trend is over, however, and it’s ending with quite a price increase.
Stations throughout the Central Okanagan have started to post prices as high as 145.9 cents a litre.
Most Petro-Canada stations are boasting a new higher price, with the ones in Winfield and Rutland all the way up to 145.9 cents a litre.
The Husky station at Sexsmith Road and Hwy 97 is also up to 145.9 cents a litre, while other Husky stations are right around 140 cents a litre.
Most Esso stations in the region are now showing 138.9 cents a litre, with all of these pricing reports coming from our friends at Gas Buddy.
There are still many stations still that reportedly have their prices at 131.9 cents a litre still, so if you get a chance to fill up the tank this after, you should!
