Hot Tubs are in stock at Valley Pool & Spa

Many hot tub stores are telling customers the wait time is over a year, some up to 18 months. Not Valley Pool & Spa!

They were proactive in pre-ordering lots of hot tubs from both of their brands, Master Spa and Cal Spa to keep up with the current demand - and two truckloads of new Cal Spa Hot Tubs are arriving soon! For more info on the remaining models call, email or pop into the showroom at 1659 Cary Rd.

While hot tubs are a hot commodity, we've prepared a few ways to let you know how a hot tub can help you and your family soak up some quality time together.

A post shared by Master Spas (@masterspas)

We all know that hot tubs are an excellent way to spend time with family while unwinding and relaxing. They are also beneficial for you and your family’s mental and physical health. Not only do hot tubs offer excellent health benefits, but they also encourage family bonding and create memories that will last a lifetime, which leads us to our first point.

Spend time away from technology

Hot tubbing is a great activity that keeps phones and other electronics away.

At a time when children are growing up surrounded by electronics, attending class through a screen and most people spend multiple hours on screens every day, a little more face-to-face time is surely necessary.

Hot tubs are a fantastic social setting to talk about problems at work, those tough tests and projects at school and all of life’s little and big worries.

Play family-friendly hot tub games

There’s nothing like sharing laughs and creating long-lasting memories with the family, which will surely happen when playing hot tub games.

Find a floating pad and play board games such as Rummikub or waterproof UNO atop a floating island. You can always add a floating spa tray or, get thrifty and crafty and create one at home by attaching pool noodles to the outside of a cutting board!

Stargaze

Another fun activity to do when the sun has gone down is stargazing.

Name the constellations or learn about new ones while you soak in the heated water and receive a hot water massage. Use a star map to locate the constellations and watch them move across the sky throughout the year.

Make your Zoom & FaceTime calls

We don't mean to contradict our first point, but if you've got a waterproof phone or a safe platform away from the hot tub to hold a computer, this is a great way to use technology to spend time with your family, friends and coworkers. Just sit back and be the envy of the meeting while you give your coworkers a good laugh.

Lots of people are using video calls to keep in touch with friends and family, and apps such as FaceTime, Zoom, Skype and Facebook Messenger give us the ability to still enjoy a hot tub party without breaking any social distancing protocols.

Bubble buddies

Once you have your outdoor spa fully functioning and bubbling, you will also probably slowly realize you will have more friends than you thought. Just watch as your bubble buddies surface to soak up some sun in the backyard bubbles.

Date night

Spending time with the whole family is important, but you deserve a bit of ‘adult time’ every now and then, too! Why not take some time for you and your spouse? Hot tub nights can certainly be a great date night.

Sip some wine and bathe while you receive an underwater massage in a soaker tub. Light some candles and place them around the tub, and don’t forget to hit the lights in the hot tub for some extra romantic effects.

Next winter, warm-up after a day in the snow

Yes, we know the sun is shining in the Okanagan, but think long-term. The family fun doesn’t have to come to an end after a long day of skiing, snowboarding or spending time outdoors in the snow. After unpacking the car, slide out of your snowsuit and into your bathing suit and jump in the tub!

As you can see, a hot tub makes an excellent addition to any family’s lifestyle and lucky for you, Valley Pool & Spa has Master Spa and Cal Spa in stock with 12 truckloads arriving over the next few months.

If you’re thinking about adding a hot tub to your backyard and creating your perfect backyard oasis, visit Valley Pool & Spa’s website. You can also check out their hot tubs in person at 1659 Cary Road in Kelowna.
