Second annual KGH Winter Wonderland taking place in a new location today

The annual JoeAnna’s House Winter Wonderland event is back today, but things will look quite a bit different compared to the inaugural event in 2023.

After raising more than $61,000 at last year's event that occurred along Royal Avenue, this year’s festivities will take place at MNP Place from 1-5 pm on Sunday, Dec. 15.

“The celebration will have something for everyone, with all of the proceeds supporting JoeAnna’s House, a home away from home for loved ones of those receiving specialized care at Kelowna General Hospital,” reads the event’s website.

There will be photos with Santa from 2-5 pm, an entertainment stage, concession, crafts, cookie decorating, a holiday market and more.

New this year is a 50/50 raffle and tickets are already available to be purchased online at this link.

There will also be ice skating and the Kelowna Rockets will be stopping by to hang out from 2-3 pm.

“We are excited to come together with our community at Winter Wonderland and make a meaningful, lasting impact for those who need it most," said Darlene Haslock, director of JoeAnna’s House.
