Local meat shop thanking Black Mountain Elementary teachers with drool-worthy lunch

Teachers and staff at Black Mountain Elementary School will be treated to a delicious hot lunch on Thursday.

It’s being provided by Garcha Bros Meat Shop, a popular Rutland establishment that sells an assortment of fresh, healthy and tasty meats, both in Indian and traditional flavours.

Thursday’s lunch Garcha Bros' way of saying thank you to the hard-working teachers, who have worked tirelessly to ensure local children are staying healthy and safe while continuing to learn during the pandemic.

The entire staff of Black Mountain Elementary, which is more than 30 people, will have plenty of drool-worthy food to choose from.

That includes lemon and tandoori chicken, buttered chicken, fish pakora with Garcha Bros’ signature green and white sauces, rice, potato salad and drinks.

Not only will they be well fed on Thursday, all staff members will also receive a discount at the meat shop on their next purchase.

Just add this act of kindness from Garcha Bros to the long list of ways we’ve seen our local community come together during the incredibly difficult past year.
