Popular breakfast chain to open in Kelowna this month

Breakfast lovers rejoice!

If you’ve never experienced this iconic Canadian chain you’re in luck, because OEB will be opening right in the heart of downtown Kelowna on Jan. 17.

OEB Breakfast Co. first opened its doors in Calgary back in 2009, and since then they’ve opened up 11 different locations across Western Canada.

The breakfast joint has an insanely creative menu that takes patron's taste buds on an absolute rollercoaster.

Guests can sink their teeth into items like the Gold Digga Breakfast Poutine which has duck fat fried herb potatoes served with poached eggs, Saint Cyrille curds, Berkshire roast pork, and brown butter hollandaise or the French Toast Trifle, which is thick-cut brioche French toast served with lemon curd, market berries, pistachios and torched pavlovas.

But it doesn't stop there as customers will be able to find unique ingredients like scallops, truffles, duck, and even caviar throughout many dishes!

The new location also means a new menu launch that will see dishes like Deep-Fried Pierogies, Chilaquiles and the Korean Bulgogi Benny hitting Kelowna!

"What we do differently, is acknowledge the hard work that the farmers and producers do, by focusing on the ingredients, and then making them shine, ” said Mauro Martina, owner and founder of OEB. “That’s what OEB is all about.”

The 2,700 square-foot restaurant will open at 1590 Ellis Street in the bustling Berard District, located directly in the Ella building.

Designed by Calgary architect, Kayla Brown, the space features bright colours, dark wood, an open kitchen and pantry, and custom metal screens with fun fruit and breakfast cutouts.

Check out the full menu on their website here, and get excited about the grand opening which is just two weeks away!
