When you think of the qualifications of what makes the Best Pub in Kelowna, there are a lot of factors to consider.
Aside from the obvious food and drinks, there's the people it attracts, the vibe/seating, entertainment/games, location and staff that influenced you to pick one over another.
Whatever it was that inspired you to vote for The Best Pub in Kelowna for this year’s Best of Kelowna awards here's what made the cut.
Great beer, great pub and even greater burgers.
Now that may be an impartial description from this author, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people voted for those reasons specifically. Besides, Central Kitchen & Bar also won Silver for The Best Burger in Kelowna. As far as pubs go, they've got everything.
The outdoor patio is perfect for the summer and the area is a little quieter so you can have an engaging conversation. During the colder months, their central location is always rocking before and after Kelowna Rockets home games and the company that come over from the Central Sports League.
If you like fries, you'll like the Train Station Pub (for real, the fries at TSP are unreal) and if you like pubs, you're going to love this former CNR station building that was built around 1926.
The TSP has become one of Kelowna's favourite patios and whether you're watching the game inside or sitting in the misters outside, it's always a good time.
So when it's time to say "all aboard," swing by with company, friends, a date or go solo... trust me the tap list and beer-battered parm fries are worth it. And here's a pro tip, if you choose to ride as a solo passenger, no one will eat your fries.
When you have a pub, bowling alley, unreal food like zucchini fries (I swear this is about pubs and not fries) and a tasting room with skeeball and a retro vibe... there's a good chance you're going to get nominated for Best Pub in Kelowna.
But when you're serving rotating taps and favourites like Earl, Purple Rain and Don't Lose Your Dinosaur, you're quickly going to become a perennial Best of Kelowna favourite.
BNA recently expanded their tasting room and patio, so whenever you visit the Best Pub in Kelowna, as voted by you, you're definitely going to have a good time.
