The casting call has gone out.
The producers of a Kelowna-based series are looking for people willing to overcome challenges and seek adventure.
The new reality series stars freestyle motocross rider, Bruce Cook.
Seven years ago, Cook was injured while attempting the world's first double frontflip during a Nitro Circus tour.
But the incident didn't take away his sense of adventure, or even his thrill-seeking ways.
Cook went on to land the world’s first backflip as a paraplegic only 10 months later.
The show is called "By Hook or By Cook" and it debuts June 3 on AMI TV.
It features people with disabilities and courageous dreams willing to test the boundaries of their limitations.
"To take them on adventures," said Cook, "that they wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do."
He said shooting last summer featured people ranging from 16 to 65 and it was an eye-opener for everyone involved.
"They're at home and been in a wheelchair for so many years and not thinking they can do these things and it's so cool to just give them that boost of confidence," said Cook.
"You can do so many things with adaptations and some peoples' help."
The show is shot in Kelowna and around BC, so many of the adventures take place in familiar territory for local viewers.
