“Trevor Brigden topping 94mph, sitting 91 [mph] consistently,” Jared Johnson, OC Coyotes assistant baseball coach, captioned the Twitter post.
“Lots of guys getting PR’s and some not getting what they want. All comes down to how hard you work over the off season,” added Johnson, who was curious to see improvements in the coming weeks.
I agree that staying closed longer adds velo, he does a pretty good job here though. While timing isn't perfect on this 91mph pitch, it is only our teams second bullpens since start of Nov. pic.twitter.com/CmoaF66n2R

Brigden’s pitch was shared amongst videos of other OC pitchers, Wyatt Hummel and Nick Lee.
C.J. Wilson, a former pitcher for multiple several Major League Baseball teams, also commented on the video of Brigden, noting the pitcher’s notable hairstyle.
“Who cares about mechanics when you have big league hair,” Wilson wrote.
The Coyotes will make their next appearance on the diamond on Feb. 15 against the College of Southern Idaho for the start of the 2019 regular season.
