Mounties are investigating what they believe to be a suspicious death in Kelowna.
A man was found dead at a home in the 600 block of Bechard Road this morning at around 7 am.
Police said they arrested a woman at the scene in connection with the investigation into the death.
No charges have been laid.
The area has been blocked off while police continue to gather evidence.
“At this time, we are not releasing the name of the deceased,” said Cst. Solana Paré of the Kelowna RCMP.
“While the investigation is in its early stages, we believe that this incident is isolated in nature and the victim and the suspect were known to one another.”
The police investigation is being led by the Kelowna RCMP Serious Crimes Unit.
BC Coroners Service is also investigating the death.
Anyone who witnessed or has knowledge of this incident is asked to come forward and speak with police immediately at 250-762-3300.
