The Kelowna Skating Club competed at a home meet, at West Kelowna's Royal LePage Place over the weekend. The club won 37 medals, the most of any team competing.

Leading the way was Amy Kim, who won a trio of gold medals, winning the STAR seven women, juvenile women under-14 and the creative improv level four event.

Ava Sanderson won herself a pair of gold's with a victory in the STAR nine women and Gold women. Gwenyth Preston finished second in both events.

The 11-year-old Sydney Price claimed the pre-juvenile women's division and added another gold in the creative improv three event.

Kelowna's Gabrielle Jugnauth struck gold twice in the novice women's short and free program. Her score of 50.54 in the short program was a personal best, on the strength of a brilliant triple-triple jump combination.

Konstantina Lock was second in the novice women's event, while Calissa Adlem claimed third to complete a Kelowna sweep of the podium. The three girls also swept the podium at BC Provincials earlier in November. They will all compete for spots at Nationals in January.

In the pre-novice level, a plethora of skaters won golds.

Anna Beyer was first in the short and free programs while Abbey McTavish finished first in the gold elements' event.

Ivy Matieshen, Sophie Clark, Irene Park also grabbed golds in their events, with a bunch of other skaters bringing back silver and bronze medals.
