The Okanagan Sun are perfect to start the season after comeback victories against the Langley Rams and the Vancouver Island Raiders.
The Sun were on the road last week facing the Raiders and they will continue to be the visitors as they march into Chilliwack to face the Valley Huskers tonight.
Chilliwack has only played one game this season after starting the year with a bye week. The Huskers played to an impressive 51-7 victory against the Kamloops Broncos last weekend.
The Sun have outscored their opponents 53-39 this season and along with the Huskers and the Westshore Rebels are the only undefeated teams remaining in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC).
The Huskers will look to quarterback Tyran Duval, who completed 21 passes for five touchdowns and 332 passing yards in the team’s sole win of the season.
On the other hand, the Sun will turn to their QB duo Marek Filipek and Liam Kroeger while depending on Elelyon Noa to continue moving the ball on the ground.
Noa is one of the best rushers in the country and has 236 rushing yards on 34 carries after two games, including six rushing touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Sun are led by Jacob Bond and Easton Fenske, who have 10 and eight tackles this season respectively.
Kick off is at 7 pm and local fans can catch the game on AM1150, streaming on BCFCTV.com and Telus Optik TV Channel 1981 or at the watch party at Pretty Not Bad on Clement Avenue.
