Calissa Adlem led the Kelowna Skating Club at the junior level after she opened with a season’s best short program.
Adlem skated to another season’s best performance in her free program to place fourth overall.
Not far behind Adlem was her fellow club member Gabrielle Jugnauth, who finished in sixth place after a ninth-place short program and a third-place free program.
Konstantina Lock notched a pair of personal best performances in her short and free programs to finish in eighth place.
Adlem, Jugnauth and Lock have all qualified for the 2025 Canadian National Skating Championships, which are being held in January.
Kelowna’s Emily Sales competed at the senior level and opened with her best short program result this season.
The 18-year-old finished in 16th place after her free program, just two spots shy of the final qualifying spot for nationals.
“These kids all had great performances under a lot of pressure,” said Kelowna Skating Club Director Jason Mongrain.
“The results are tremendous, considering Kelowna had three of the top eight juniors in Canada.”
