A workplace death in Lumby is currently under investigation.
Lumby RCMP and the BC Ambulance Service were called to a business on Bell Avenue in Lumby just after 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
An adult male employee of the business suffered fatal injuries while working.
The BC Coroner’s Service and Worksafe BC have both been notified.
No other details are being released at this time and the initial investigation is ongoing.
This comes less than two weeks after a construction worker in Victoria died from falling more than three stories at a worksite.
