The Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market is making it’s indoor debut this afternoon at the Parkinson Recreation Centre.
Highly regarded for its abundance of local vendors boasting fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items and more, the market has become a one-stop shop for Kelownians looking to support their community.
With winter well on its way, the market has temporarily retired from its regular spot on the corner of Dilworth and Springfield but promises to host the same fresh necessities and fun activities this indoor season as it does throughout the summer.
The first themed event will be the International Festival on Saturday, Nov.17, and will encourage participating vendors to represent their origin countries with pride through their incredible products.
Though the main market headquarters are indoors, you can still enjoy a bit of fresh air, as a few produce and food truck vendors will occupy outdoor space near the walkway to the main entrance.
If you have yet to get your fresh produce fix, market hours carry on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For the full indoor season schedule of events, head to the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ website.
